At the foot of a hill and surrounded by lush vegetation Casa M is located at the center of an exclusive paradise in which everything was considered in order to enjoy to the most the wonders of nature. This retreat is distributed in two generous levels that divide the public from the private areas, intended in the program to exploit the full potential of the communication between interior and exterior favoring each space with magnificent views.

The extensive garden that surrounds the house limits in a small pond in the lowest part of the lot. The house was placed at the top to admire the extension of the valley and the simple lines of its design integrate to context thanks to the correct selection of materials and the neutrality of the different shades. Two wide terraces and a pool give shape to the main exterior areas, a platform next to the pond and a series of patios around the house finish the inside views.

Wood and stone floors stand out in the interior emphasizing the natural atmosphere that gives meaning to the whole project. The access to the private area is a family room with a nice sofa set, a small dining table and a terrace that becomes the foyer organizes the circulation towards the bedrooms.

The master bedroom is highlighted by generous spaces, the attention to every detail and comfort plus a view inviting to dream even with the eyes open.

A series of wide open spaces, in which to enjoy the passing of time, give shape to Casa M a warm dwelling designed to enhance the nature of its materials and where interior and exterior have no boundaries.

In architecture spaces must communicate with the people who live them and transmit their lifestyle. Each project is a commitment to both interior and exterior that generates a language through all the elements that shape it. The result is an atmosphere that is present in an intimate communication between the architect and his client. Architect Claudia Lopez Duplan, has more than 20 years of experience in the development of residential, corporate and commercial projects. Her unique sensitivity and style have positioned her in the interior design scene; and she has specialized in residential renovation that gives the spaces a new identity. In her projects lighting plays an important role and the use of indirect light, combined with variation of intensity, creates different atmospheres required for each space. Keeping the original architecture is one of the challenges faced in each project, besides the integration of all elements giving that result in a whole new image.
