This office was designed for a team of young IT professionals who needed a new space for their fast growing company. The main aim was not only to make high-quality spaces for a formal work process but also comfortable and inspiring places for leisure time as well as internal and external communication.

This office was designed for a team of young IT professionals who needed a new space for their fast growing company. The main aim was not only to make high-quality spaces for a formal work process, but also comfortable and inspiring places for leisure time as well as internal and external communication.

In this project we tried to use the best qualities of the interior space in existing building and reduce budget through simple and effective solutions and usage of the furniture from the previously occupied office. Thus, we created just a few partition walls rather preferring to use furniture (old and new one) to create spacious conditions with different privacy levels and connectivity. For instance, such rooms as kitchen, conference or living room are separated just by glass walls to protect workers from the noise and smells.

Particularly important was a creation of the space for spare time, which we also called children room, because one of the main function was to host small children of office workers, creating more opportunities for young parents to combine work with their family duties.

Concerning elements creating particular identity of the design proposal we suggested several color accents highlighting particular functional spaces such as cloakroom or kitchen. But the most important eye-catching element, concrete beam, was basically discovered at the place during construction work and left in its initial appearance in order to emphasize beauty and importance of existing building’s structure.
